- Password (stored securely/hashed)
- Virtual account details generated for you within the platform
- Transaction history (airtime, data, bill payments)
- Agent registration details, if you register as an Epaybillz agent (business name, contact numbers)
Payment information:
- We do not store your full card or bank details directly. Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways (e.g. Paystack, Flutterwave, or your bank’s payment processor), which have their own privacy policies.
Automatically collected information:
- Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
- App usage data (features used, crash logs, general usage patterns)
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level, derived from IP)
Push notification data:
- If you enable notifications, we collect a device push token to send you transaction alerts, promotions, and service updates. You can disable notifications anytime in your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage your account and virtual account
- Process airtime, data, and bill payment transactions
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud
- Send transaction confirmations, receipts, and service alerts
- Send promotional messages about offers, new features, or the agent program (you can opt out)
